Hello
I'm Ren McClure. I am an artist and musician who loves creation and storytelling. I've been drawing since the first day I could hold a crayon, always eager to hone my skills and improve my art.
My Story
I was born into a military family in September of 2005. I spent the first ten years of my life moving from place to place around the country, and that gave me a vibrant sense of adventure from a very young age. I spent my childhood filling sketchbooks and notebooks with drawings and stories about dragons and dinosaurs. I never lost my Imagination. Now that I'm older, I still spend my time filling sketchbooks and canvases with fantastical scenes and delicate recreations of the world I explore. I'm a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I'm studying publication illustration and painting in the School of Visual Communication. I love what I do. There is passion in every brush stroke, and excitement in every completed piece. There is no better feeling than seeing a client happy that their vision could come to life with my help.
I take inspiration from everything around me. From my favorite books and video games to simply the way light hits a wall. I love history, and I'm always seeking to make my historical art as accurate as possible. I strive to capture realness and energy in my work, to create pieces that are vibrant and fresh. I am constantly broadening my creative horizons, breaching into new mediums.
